Two washed-up Shakespearean actors hit bottom – performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in Amish country. When they hear a nearby elderly woman is leaving her fortune to her two long-lost nephews, they try to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble is, her relatives aren't nephews, but nieces! Romantic entanglements and laughs abound as "Maxine and Stephanie" try to keep up their act.
